She loves the ring but is it too big to resize?
Quote this post and reply to it Post#1 @ 11-04-09 , 01:28 PM

I found a ring that my girlfriend adores. It says that it is a size 7.75 but I found out that my girlfriend is a size 5. I would feel terrible if it wouldn't be possible to re-size this ring. I just want to make sure the integrity of the ring isn't compromised.

I have 30 days to take the ring back so if it isn't possible it isn't a huge loss.

This would be easy to re-size, though the curvature at the top of the ring won't be able to be changed and so the ring will be slightly oval shaped after sizing. Since 7.75 is larger than a normal size that a stock setting comes in, this ring may have already been sized up, making going down even easier.

I don't know anything about the sizing but I just wanted to say that is a lovely vintage ring! Lucky girl, I hope the sizing works out.
