1.5 carat diamond ring

How much should I expect to pay for a 1.5 carat H color, I1 diamond mounted on 14k white gold. I understand that it is a lesser quality gem but the imperfections are barely noticable to me when inspecting the ring and the imperfections are white so they are less visible to the untrained eye. The ring still has some great sparkle to it.
I am new to diamonds and the thing is that when most people around here look at a diamond they look at the size... they usually dont pull out a loop and inspect the ring up close... they are asking 7,000... any suggestions?

Do you have anymore info on the diamond such as the shape, and lab report info?

I would stick with a GIA lab report only. Also fair would not be good on the symmetry.

For instance, you could get a nice rectangular modified brilliant with a GIA lab report 1.53 ct. SI1 I with Excellent polish and very good symmetry for $6500.

Does this justify the larger price?

No. I would check the fine print on that as well. What is the name of the chain? If they go out of business you won't have any guarantees at all. I would make sure to get the ring insured.

As a comparison, you could get a GIA 1.53 ct. I1 H for under $3000.
