Gem Instruments 264

Hi,

I have a Gem Instruments 264 microscope (bought it used in the mid 90's) and was curious if anyone had an idea of its value nowadays. Saw a post here years back, but no value was listed. If anyone has any thoughts, they would be appreciated.

Steve

Steve
I searched around for a good scope when I was looking for quality e-ring diamonds last year....Most of what I found was people looking for new or near new microscopes.
If you have a model number you could probably narrow down the search.
I'd say you might ebay it?

Ebay was my first thought, but had no idea where to price it (it was sweetheart deal from a friend of a friend, so can't use that number as a place to start). . It's a model 264. I'll probably package it with some of the other gem id stuff leftover from my gemologist days. It's definately a tank of a scope, but it has great optics.

Sounds like a 99 cent start bid with no reserve will get the ball rolling

I would like to have a nice gem microscope >>(ie cheap)
shoot me an email with the listing if you list it.
