This is a picture of the ACTUAL ring along with the original appraisal from 7/3/06. The ring that is listed for sale is the one on the top in the picture. The matching wedding band below is also for sale but is not included in this listing. If you want the wedding band as well, I'll be happy to make a deal with you on it. It was custom made to match the engagement ring and is also made of 14 karat gold with "like" quality diamonds.
Main stone is a round brilliant full cut diamond, .71 carat, J color SI1 clarity.
Accent stones are 8 round brilliant full cut diamonds, total weight approximately .77 carat, H/I color, SI1/SI2 clarity.
This ring was purchased on 7/3/06 and the cost is based on the original appraisal. The ring has appreciated in value in the past 2 years but I'm only interested in getting the money back that I paid for it.
If you are concerned about it's authenticity (which is understandable), please contact a jeweler of your choice in the Los Angeles area and I will bring it to have it verified as real.
You will not be disappointed, this is a spectacular ring and it sparkles beautifully.

Since there is no mention of the diamond beiong certified, as GIA or EGL I would think it is not.I am familiar with Fortunoff's and I'll agree the appraisal amount is definitely not what you paid .
In a resale second hand market you might be lucky to get about a 1/3 of what you originally paid.
Did you have it reappraised ( based on '06 purchase) just to sell it? Maybe Fortunoff would consider buying back their product or allowing you to trade up as an alternative?
Just a suggestion. The price is way high for a resale non certified stone.
