This is a wonderful antique style sapphire ring. Set in 14K yellow gold (marked) this ring features a beautiful round deep blue natural sapphire of approximately 1.47 carats with excellent clarity! (over 6 mm in diameter)

The setting is raised approximately 6 mm and has lovely, detailed openwork in a floral design. This ring is nice quality and is hallmarked "CBC" inside the band. The band is approximately 2 mm in diameter, tapering to a little over 1.2 mm before it widens into the detailed setting. The overall weight is 2.65 grams and it is a little over a size 6. (sizeable) Very good condition with little to no wear.

This is from a group of jewelry I got at auction...I can't afford to keep them all for myself...so i hope this goes to a good home.
