I think nowadays everybody does things differently, depending on the individual financial situations of both the couple and the bridal party members there no longer seems to be the correct way of doing things as everyone I have spoken have vastly varying opinions on this issue with my wedding I am paying for half the cost of the bridesmaids dresses they are paying for their own jewellery and shoes then i am paying for their hair and makeup. |

Hi there, My wife was bridesmaid a couple of times and have always had everything paid for, dress, shoes, jewellery like (as a gift) and that's it. You wouldn't need to pay for the rooms in the hotel or anything. She will be paying for all that stuff for our bridesmaids too.   Thanks, Michelle Hughes. |

It all depends on the couple and their budget, but most of the weddings i've been to the brides maids were responsible for their dresses. And the accessories were covered by the bride. It would be great if everything was paid for, but especially with the size of some wedding parties, that could become very cumbersome. |

Yes, I also think it depends on the budget of the bride... I don't know what to say for sure, because I have heard about cases and situations... |

Hello Yes I agree with PrimeStylecom and ElenaIuliana Because that totally depend upon the couple budget.If budget is good on that invest more money in wedding.I am not also heard this type situations. |

I believe the wedding tradition is there is no longer any set tradition. It is whatever works for you. |
