Hi! My fiance and I found a ring at an estate/antique shop. We need to get it looked at by an appraiser in Pittsburgh right away - preferably tomorrow. (Monday, Dec. 18) We have five days to return it. Also any advice on this (although we should know more tomorrow....): the ring is a beauty, however the cut seems a bit odd towards the bottom. It almost seems like a line about 3/4 of the way down going through the diamond. It seems to be the way it is cut, however. Any ideas? Could it be cleavage? Or could it be some type of large culet? Thanks for your help! ~ D.S. |
