Does anyone know where a Coach Outlet Store is? Is there such a thing? I am in NJ, there is a Coach store at the cherry hill mall and a couple of dept stores sell them but I have not seen an outlet. Thanks for any help. |

I went to a Coach outlet store in Orlando, Florida. They basically had everything but the signature print (the SA explained that it's because it's selling so well in stores). So basically, anything that doesn't sell well goes there. They do have the embossded signature sometimes (wallet's, PDA cases, cell phone cases, etc) I got a Coach seude pochette (orig. retail value of $98US) for 29.99 w/25% off. You can find some good deals, but don't expect to find any signature. |

We have 2 Coach outlets here. Among the millions of other outlets - we have (I think) 5 outlet malls here. They're opening a Boyd's Bears outlet, too. It's HUGE... back to the Coach outlets - I bought the Microfiber Mercer hobo (small one) for $60. With the mall coupon book (Tanger) if you spend over $200 you get 15% off. Which adds up in THAT store! Their #'s are 865-453-6349 and 865-429-0772 I wish we had a D & B outlet! There are some in TX, I think NJ, too. I just bought the *mini* DB tote from Ebay, I think it's authentic... seems to be. It's been hard to find in the retail stores. If anyone knows something specific they want from Coach, I would be happy to pick it up and ship it to you - the store is about 5 minutes from my house. |

Wow this is an interesting thread, especially to me. I just purchased a coach bag from an outlet store for $230, including tax. I was thrilled and love the bag (signature series small carryall), it was not a huge discount. I think the orginial price tag was $248. Anyway after I got it, I went on ebay and found what seem to be the same exact purse on ebay for a buy it now of $164! Even with shipping, it would still be $55 cheaper. I was like how could some one sell it so cheap when the outlet sells it for the amount I bought it for? I mean does it get cheaper than the outlet price? So I emailed the seller and asked how she could offer such a low price and she emailed me back and said she buys in bulk and gets good deals. I am not sure if I believe it or not. The serial # she quotes is the same but still it is hard to be convinced that it is real or that Coach gives discounts for buying in bulk!  Does anyone know if that is true?I do not know what to think. I have seen a good fake LV before (a friend had one from china that had a D ring and serial #, I do not own any LV's yet), so it makes me think someone could do a good fake Coach as well, especially since I think Coach is manufactured in China! Sorry so long, just thinking aloud! |

There are some on Ebay, definetely. I am almost positive I bought one  I would stay away from someone who "buys in bulk" because that's usually a sign of a fake purse distributor. I mean, some are for real, but like someone stated, with a price so cheap, you have to wonder how they're making a profit, right? If you're going to get one on Ebay that you are on the fence about, buy from someone who at least has a 100% money back guarantee, and read their feedback, too. I have a small slim duffle sac and I see it on Ebay for about $100, and it is very tempting to buy them

I've been to several outlets, we have one in Michigan in West Branch MI, and there are 2 in Vegas. With the exception of Vegas which has several retail stores plus the outlets, generally Outlet Stores are not located within a 100 miles of a retail store which is what the Coach people told me, or it competes with their full price stores. The bag I got was perfect in quality, but discounted by about $50. But be careful there too, a lot of the bags have scratches or marks or other problems. There are definitely some good deals there if you look. |

I called Coach and the customer service dept told me that over 99% of the Coach bags on Ebay are fake. She also said there is no such thing as a Coach distributor. I was told however that you could take it to a Coach Store and that they could authenticate it if it is real, just ask for a manager. They won't tell you how they tell its real and I guess for good reason. I just got a couple from ebay, individual sellers with 100 feedback so I guess I will be taking a trip to Coach real soon. Too late now that I got them already but just thought I would pass this along to you. Hope at least one is authentic. Keeping my fingers crossed. Gives real meaning to Buyer Beware doesn't it. |

Good Luck bsur! Please let us know how things go. What a bummer that most of the ones on ebay are fake. I am not too surprised though. Like I said before how can someone get the same exact purse I got at the outlet, and sell if for $65 cheaper? I know the seller emailed me that they buy in bulk, but still I would think that to get a deal you would have to buy in volumes to big for an individual on ebay to handle, more like a volume for a department store to handle. Hmmm, mabye I will email the seller and ask if they will give me a refund if I take the purse to a Coach store and they say it is not the real deal!

ok i got my coach in ny city on canall street the guy who had them said they were all real but i dont know now mine says made in italy isnt that where they are made? but inside where it says coach it says this find hancratfed purse is made in turky i got a serial number can someone help me out btw i only paid 35 for the purse the sn is n2u0j-7785 this person also had the new spring line but he wanted like 90 for them and they were the big ones but i was like i can get the small ones for 130-150 and figured 90 wasnt much of a bargen |

I believe the newer serial numbers are like this N2R-1234 . Letter, number, letter dash 4 numbers. The older ones are all numbers. Sounds like that one has too many digits. You can take it to a coach store and they can authenticate it for you. I called coach and that is what they told me. I haven't done it yet but you can give it a try if it's important to you. Personally, I think that if the bag is leather, you like it and it fits your body well, for the price you paid, you can't go wrong. |
