Hello
I bought some stones at a flea market they are in the original packets never opened. How do I determine what they are worth? Should I take them to a local Jeweler? I have many different sizes and colors of stones. Thank you.

Are they in those sealed plastic packets? If so then you'd need to take them to someone with gemological training, have them remove the contents and examine them. Do they have labels? Most of these types of stones are being sold in flea markets because they are very low in value and so the chances of finding something of great value are small. If you have a local rock and gem club, they may also be able to refer you to a member who has enough gemological knowledge to help you out at no cost.
