Hello DT! I am located in Malvern, Pennsylvania My work-related interests are... My fun-related interests are... My jewelry-related interests are. This is not my first marriage I am middle aged and plan to marry again. Would like a special ring but cost is an issue. Have kids to put through college and other more pertinent expenses. What is a special ring for an engagement that is different but beautiful. My birth stone is sapphire. I am open to many possibilities. I would also like to get the best value for our money. Please any suggestions. again this ring will eventually be on the same finger with a wedding band..Please give some good suggestions. Places to look etc.. Regards, RosemaryNolan |

Hi Rosemary! If you go to Fortunoff.com and type in sapphire ring you will see lovely rings. I am a great fan of Fortunoff's jewelry. They are nicely made, nicely priced and always complimented! |

![]() Welcome to DT Rosemary! Next to diamonds, sapphires are my favorite gem! Followed by emeralds... This puppy is sourced from Madagascar and is kind of medium electric blue in color - the appearance here is not true to hue because it's a picture... Sapphires come in a variety of colors including yellow, but I'm going to assume you're thinking blue - so do you prefer dark blue, light blue, pale blue, electric blue? I'm kind of partial to the Ceylon and Madagascar blues myself, but to each their own... Most of the sapphires you find in the market will be heat treated to enhance their natural color, assume this to be the case unless the gem is accompanied by a GIA, AGTA (or comparable) lab report stating otherwise and even then I'm not so sure... Doesn't matter, most of them don't come with paper... Built a three stone ring awhile back with a sapphire center stone and it was to die for! Let us know if we can help! |

I think it would be beautiful to have a sapphire e-ring with diamond accents and maybe a diamond wedding band! Check out some of the vendors here and search for pics. I think I saw some rings with sapphires for the main stone at ringdesigner.com. Good Luck! |
