Soft dollar against the EUR and the high price of metals takes its toll. The Rolex SeaDweller is now $6,225 MSRP. Rolex will sell, (or rather force dealers to buy from them) every watch they make.

In Sept 05 I bought my SD for $4,200 which was $500 off MSRP of $4,700. Now it's gone beyond my means, that's for sure. I wonder how the consumers will react in these tougher times.

The much vaulted SS Daytona is now $9k I think.
