Which diamond is a better buy? Urgent Help needed
Hello, Please advise which is the best buy from the 3 options below. All are round diamonds. 1. E, VS2, 1.01, cut grade Very Good. Depth 62.3%,Table 60%,Crown angle 36.0, crown height 14.5%, pavilion angle 41.0,pavilion depth 43.5, Girdle Medium Facet 4.5%, Culet none. Polish v good. Symmetry Excellent. Flourescence none. Price = $8,500. 2. E, VS2, 1.01, cut grade v good Depth 59.1, Table 61, Crown angle 31.5,crown height 12., pavilion depth 43.5,girdle very thin to medium 3.5,culet none. Polish good, symmetry good, Flourescence none. Price= $9,000. 3. G, VS2, 1.01, cut very good, depth 62.5, table 58, crown ang 34.5 crown height 14.5,pavilion ang 41,pavilion depth 43.5,girdle med. to thick 4.5, culet none. polish Exc., Symmetry good, Fluroes none. Price = $8,375. I need to buy one diamond today! Any help is highly appreciated!! Many Thanks!!!! |

Hi, it looks like you are sticking with a 1.0ct round brilliant. May I ask why you have chosen such a high color grade for your diamond? If it is personal prefrence, then that is fine, but you could possibly get a larger diamond if you go down a color grade, and possibly a clarity grade, as long as it is an "eye-clean" stone. |

First of all make sure it is a GIA lab report on the stones, Secondly I would go for a better cut grade. You can get an excellent cut grade for $300 more which is definitely worth it. A very good cut grade lots of times is not really very good. |
