What does the metal mark 993z mean?
I have an antique topaz ring and needed a little help figuring out what the markings mean. The ring is gold and "silver" in color. It is marked 18k and 993z I have never seen 993z marked on any jewelery before and have had no luck on google. Does anyone know what 993z means? Thanks! |

Not sure, it could be the manufacturing mark on it versus metal content. I know sterling silver is 925. |
