The Seiko I wear originally had a stainless steel strap on it when I purchased it, but I replaced it with a rubber strap. Just feels more comfortable on my wrist then metal or leather strap do. My Citizen that I wear for special occasions I left the stainless steel band on it because it does look very nice, but not as comfortable.
