Peridot!

I bought this emerald cut peridot pendant yesterday - the color is so vivid, it reminds me of a piece of apple candy!

Plus it's nice to have some green now that all the leaves are brown and gold!

I just wish I had a better camera to pick up the details of it - it's a lot prettier in person, but you can see the color of it even though the picture is a little blurry.

Very pretty!

7x5mm, and it's in silver. I liked the east-west setting of it

How about these peridots? 5mm each, approx 1.0cttw, diamond cut.

(These will eventually get posted on FSOT with a price... I've got two pairs!)

I use an Olympus C-730 with 10x analogue zoom and 3.2 megapixels. About 3 years old.

Macro mode and a white pillow case as a background.

These earrings were taken in sunlight, but I do have two high colour-rendering compact fluorescent lights ($16 a bulb) for night-time sessions. I also usually use a tripod so that the images aren't blurry and jittery.

FYI, peridot (olivine) is the only gem found in outer space- on Mars and on the moon!!!!
