They are gorgeous! And they all look so good, they were packed real well. I just finished following their instructions and they are resting in their vase. I will take a picture later and post it for all you who are curious. I think I really am going to do my wedding flowers, they have great roses!

I'm glad someone had a good experience with them! I want to make the bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids. And I was thinking of ordering the roses from them.

WOW! Please keep us posted - I went to their site and I'm really going to consider doing that. I'd love to hear anyone else's experiences with doing their own flowers.

I strongly suggest ordering the sample bunch of roses first. You get 25 different varities for $35.00

That way you can see how they come packed, and you can view a large portion of their different types of roses. They have so many colors! They all come labeled, so you can remember which ones you wanted to order for your event. Plus, you can practice making stuff with them

If they hold up well over the next 3 days, I am definately going to do this for my wedding.

Ok, I am going to try taking a pic now...

This is day one, after an hour out of the box...they are still pretty tightly closed.

I actually like the tightly closed rose-buds. So for me, I think this'd be perfect! They look great!

Are you thinking about the Premium or Standard package? I think I just want the standard with Dark Red roses.

do they come with thorns? or are they removed?

i was imagining the nightmare scenario of de-thorning 300 roses the day before my wedding....ugh!

Cass, probably the standard package

Yes the have thorns, but you'd really only be dethorning if you were making wraped bouquets, if the are arranged in the vases you won't need to dethorn, or if you are using those bouquet holders where you stick the ends into that green florists stuff, you won't need to dethorn because you'd be cutting the flowers way up high and sticking them in...I know that may not make sense...but I'll look for pics later.

Cass, I have this great book: Wedding Flowers you can Make it's very clear and easy to follow...

I am doing all red for my rose bouquet to!

It is such a beatiful look----I have seen professional wedding photos of a bride who had an all red rose bouquet and omg! It was just absolutely beatiful. The black and white pics were great to.

Very pretty flowers. We were thinking of going with 2G, but only http://www.obiesfloral.com had the Metalina roses that match the rum pink on Melissa's dress. Their sample bunch was gorgeous and their shipping was less, so we'll save some money there. I'm going to try to post pics of her dress and her flowers...

Umm, ok, too big - try again...

Just out of curiosity, Jaxie, can you gimme an update on how well the roses from 2G turned out after the 2 days you're supposed to give them to open up??

They're very pretty in your pic. How long did they last?

They lasted a good 4 days before they started to show wear. We kept them for a week before we had to throw them out. They were quite full by day 2, so if you want them to stay tightly closed, store them in a refrigerator.
