HELP! I LOST my DIAMOND from my wedding ring!
Quote this post and reply to it Post#1 @ 05-29-11 , 09:35 PM

Does anyone have a really good tip on helping me find my diamond that fell out of my engagement/wedding band? It could be indoors or outside around the house or anywhere actually.. Its been three days. I stayed awake the first night looking for it relentlessly and I do not want to give up~ I am heartbroken.. Your advice is appreciated.., and prayers too

My sympathies JF. Have you determined why you lost the diamond, i.e are any prongs broken or bent? If so, you likely knocked the ring into something. Try to retrace where that might have happened. Also look in your shoes in the closet, grocery bags, garbage bins, pockets of jeans, purse....in other words anywhere you've put your hands. Good luck!

In night, use the torchlight and point it at low level with minimum of light.

In dark, if your search with torch light at very low height level, there is the possibility of the shining of the diamond which can be easily identified. Search the area like 10*10 feet, so that you can really find it.

Have a photograph of the suspected area during dark with flash light. The diamond itself will show its location with bright spot.

The last solution:
Follow the methods as "irish" told

Always have the hope that you will definitely find the diamond. This will help you.

I hope i will soon expect a positive reply from you.

What a pity Even my sister lost diamond in her wedding ring before 7 months. No way it could be regained because she lost it in a public place. I pray for you Definitely you will get it back. If you get it see to the settings whether it is proper and make the bents of prongs straight.

well if it was lost indoors you can take nylons and put over the top of the attachment of the vacuum and vacuum around the house and check the nylon for your diamond. I know it works to find contacts. You can do the same for inside your vehicle.
