What type of setting is this?

I know it appears to be shared-prong, but a lot of shared-prongs do not have the round "support basket" at the back like this setting. I really like this and love the fact that you can tell the shape of each individual stone.

I have a few 10-point round stones that I would like to set in this way, and don't know how to describe to a jeweler.

Do any of the jewelers here carry this type of setting?

Thank you,

Giada

Hi,

Calling the ring a "shared prong design with a round gallery" would pretty much describe the design to anyone in the business.

I think any of the Network Jewelers here could make that design for you.
