Here is my new (used) Glashütte Original entirely handmade by hand in Glashütte Germany. The make all the parts for the movement and case in their own shop. I suspect they don't make the crystal or strap, but it is considered a true "manufacture" rather than a firm which buys movements such as ETA's. |

Here is the movement. Note the swan neck regulator next to the balance wheel. This is very cool, not many watches have adjusters like this. |

Niiiiiiiice watch, RM. Congratulations on your purchase; wear it well. I really really like to look of it; very clean, yet still stylized; and all handmade...very cool. |

So far so good. I will see how accurate it is tomorrow and how consistent it is over the next week. It is more important that it is consistent. If it is off 10 seconds a day, every day (which is unlikely) it can be regulated to be virtually exact. If it is off 1 second one day, three the next, one the next, four the next, then it is perhaps more accurate but erotic and thus much tougher to regulate and it will always swing like that, unless it is defective. This is usually the problem with cheap conventional non quartz movements. This one does not fall into that category. MSRP is $4.5K. |

RM...I like it, a lot!
I even think I figured out the 'swan neck' movement in the picture! Very attractive, wear it long, and in good health! win |

You naughty rat! Very Pretty. Ok what is the thing-a-ma-bob in the upper right face? The measurement gadget, what is that measuring? The left one is moon phases? Forgive the ignorance... Seen any gawdy cheap ladies Rolex's in your travels lately? |
