Experimenting with different colored straps on the MOP dial Breitling is great fun: The Blew Strap... |

I like them all RM. Depending on your mood and your wardrobe several bands could come in handy

Rodentman: I have this green bezel J Class with both a Crododile and Calf band. Am thinking of trying a honey Pericles on it, do you have any other suggestions? |

I think the honey would go great with the green! |

The Rodentman: Do you prefer the deployment clasps, the two Sirtoli's I've recently received have them, what do you think? |
|
|
I like deployants because they engender less wear and tear on the straps and they enable me to use a regular length instead of a long. Not the best of selections in longs... |

Rodentman: Do you have any special tools for removing bracelets and bands? Any tricks? You seem to change regularly, so you must have some tricks. |

All those straps are very attractive...

I have a "Watchmaker's knife" made by Wenger. It's got many useful tools, including springbar changing forks. I also have a nice Bergeron tool which is plastic so there is little danger of scratching the lugs. |

Rodentman: I've got my new tools and can play the game now, switching bands to my heart's delight. Two vintage watches below, the Rolex with an 18mm Sirtoli honey Pericles, and the Girard Perregaux (with the 13mm lugs) with a 16mm Sirtoli honey Lucca. I cut notches in the back to make it fit as you can see. What about getting a 20mm band and cutting "slots" inside the stitching (instead of outside the stitching as I have done) to give a more massive look to the band? |
