I've seen many posts from people asking "what's the difference between X cut and Y cut". If you want to see the difference between various cuts, go to http://www.interlap.com/ .
They are manufactors of cz's, but they have fantastic pictures of the standard cuts (rb, emerald, marquise, princess, etc.), and they have "cuts for collectors" including the flander's brilliant , amongst many others. And if you are really curious to get your hands on stones that can demonstrate the different cuts up close and personal, their prices are really reasonable.
If you plan to order a stone, I would suggest ordering several because they are in Thailand, and it's not worth it to order just one stone because of the shipping costs.
