Treble-clef ruby ring
 

14 kt gold treble clef ring, custom-made by Michael E. Attached below include the initial design drawing I sent to Michael, which showcases my elementary-level "artistry." ;-) Michael then created the CAD rendering which went through a few revisions. Finally, a wax model was created.

Hopefully the pictures are in the correct sequence...

Yay! Looks like it worked...

All right, here are a couple of pictures of the ring itself. The center ruby is a symbolic heart, and together with the treble clef design represents my love of music. Michael did a beautiful job constructing the ring -- the band and the prongs are sturdy and well-balanced, and it's easy/comfortable to wear.

The ruby was the best I could afford at the time (three years ago), and once in a while I would consider upgrading to a better quality ruby. But the ring is the first piece of jewelry that I had a hand in designing, and I saved up for quite a while to be able to meet the budget, so I'll probably keep the ring as-is for the sentimental value.

Cool ring Ally!!! The treble clef cut outs are awesome! And your ruby is so pretty. What a special ring! I think Michael E. always does fabulous work!
