Foxy's Awesome Claude Thibaudeau Tension Set Ring from DBOF
 

I have been admiring everyone's tension settings lately, but have wanted this specific tension setting for what seems like forever!

I had originally planned on getting this setting for a .75'ish RB diamond, but couldn't pass up the great deals Brad & Jan have on Claude T. settings right now.

The contemporary design is just exquisite! It looks fabulous from every angle, & is such a work-of-art. The YG bar is a great touch, and seems to be Claude's signature in a lot of his pieces. The platinum is very thick & looks well-made. I really love the heavier feel of it on my finger!

This setting was made for a 7.50 mm RB (approx 1.5 ct), so larger than I had originally planned. I do want to replace the CZ with a diamond someday, but it's such a stunning setting! Right now I've been thrilled wearing it with just the CZ.

Its stunning Foxy!!!!! Very unique, I can see why you like it so much... I think it would also look stunning with a colored stone (like a sapphire) but then again I am biased ;)

Me too! They actually list a few settings with blue sapphires in their catalog. They're on page 10. The PLT-19 setting looks very similar to mine. PLT-194 & PLT-16 are very pretty...with blue sapphires too.

Great Photos Amy!!. Also thanks so much for your gift you sent us. Brittany, Brad and I will enjoy the candies. The peeps, Gracie, Cooper, Buster, Kramer, Karlee, Kaycee and Samson are going to have a blast eating their doggie bones. :) You are so sweet. What a nice surprise.

We can hope for small miracles. :) I found him with another sock in his mouth the other night. :) Brad had left his shoes on the floor with his socks in them. All of a sudden I look over and Samson has a sock again. This time, I quietly went over and took it from him before he swallowed it whole again. We don't want anymore of that. It was a very long 2-3 weeks the last time. :)

Wow! Sorry I have not been around much .I became a grandmother again last monday and have been busywith baby till now.

I am still hoping to find just the right fancy light pink diamond for a ring to be made for.

No special occassion right now....it'll probably end up being an anniversary ring when we can get the CZ replaced. It probably seems kind of backwards to get the setting before the diamond, but I've always loved this setting so much!
