Help me find red wedding dresses photos
 

Please help me find photos of red wedding dresses. Be so much better if you have permission to use/share the photo but I'll take what I can get and go chase down the source myself to get permission. It can be a real bride shot or a designer photo shoot.

Just curious.
But whay not go to designers for use of their dresses and hire models is this is for a layout/article?
Maybe the premise is flawed in that there really aren't nmany brides opting to wear red?
Maybe ball gowns or prom gowns if you googled that you'd get some pictures and leads. JMO

Part of the website is to study if there is an interest in red wedding dress. Even if there's no real interest to wear a red wedding on the day of, its a news website and the idea is attractive enough to attract a lot young folks.
Finding a photo of a bride in a red wedding dress is the challenge. I've been using the search engines to find a lot of the photos. I have a few designers providing use of their photos. I am going to be contacting all the designers but that takes a bit of time so for now I'm using "adhoc" photos that I can get my hands on and with permission (or at least document the source of the photo).

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Maybe I'm mistaken but isn't "red" customary attire for an Asian bride? :shrug: :shrug:

My gown had red in the train, but the rest was white (it was designed by me and made entirely by my mother)....so I don't know if that would count or if you want an all-red gown? I'm assuming by the pics you've already included, that you prefer an entirely red gown, rather than just bits of it.

I don't know about the WHOLE dress being red, but yes, the color red is very popular in Asian countries. My Chinese friend held a red umbrella (but her dress was white) is some of her wedding poses. And her wedding invitations were made of bright red silk on the outside.

Sorry I posted too fast. Desi........your dress sounds beautiful too. I'd love to see a pic when you can get around to it.

One girl I knew chose "dark red & black" as her wedding colors. She had dark red roses everywhere with black bows. She wore a white wedding dress, but all her girlfriends/family in the wedding wore black dresses. At first I thought it'd look too "gothic" for a wedding, but it was actually quite classy and pretty looking.

tuanle55, sorry for hijacking your thread. I found a few red dresses in the Maggie Sottero Collection.......but I think the pics you posted came from there too.

Look at "Lana". It's also red.

Irish, I've been reading more about red wedding dresses, and red is considered the color of good luck in Asian (particularly China) countries.

red wedding dresses represent Asian ones...

but i saw best wedding dresses 2010 but most of them are white in color.. :hypocrite
