I purchased this ring in late 2005 and it was returned to me in January 2006. Here is a near direct quote from the accompanying appraisers report.
A lady's eighteen Karat white gold and diamond ring. The brightly polished ring mounting is assemble manufactured of fancy pave design with platinum head.
The ring contains one radiant brilliant cut diamond. The weight is 1.21 carats. The clarity is grade VVS1. The color is grade E.(For additional specifications of the diamond see the accompanying GIA report # 14592682).
The ring also contains eighteen pave set round brilliant cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.20 carats in weight. Their clarity grade averages a minimum of SI1. Their color grades average a minimum of H. Their polish is good. Their symmetry is good, Their overall proportions are good.
