What a beautiful garnet! I love the deep red color...no brown at all, like some garnets! You did a fantastic job cutting that too! I love the trilliant shape & all the wonderful faceting! :) :) :)

Thanks FoxyandSexy, trillion cut stones can be very bright if they are cut deeply in the Barion style. For some rough stones it's the only way to get a decent weight return after cutting. I particularly like triangular stones where one side is significantly longer, kind of like a sharp cornered pear, (a lot of them are described as "shield" cuts).
