Wanting to learn more about gemstones left by grandmother ~

Hello to all ~Hello to all ~

H'mm...may take me a bit to get use to this!

I live in WA state, just north of Seattle...

My grandmother left me several large pieces of gemstone jewelry
and I'd like to learn more about them.

One huge piece, in 14K gold..is [she always told me]...set in a
"Rose" setting...highly detailed leaf sides, is an Imperial Topaz?
(2) large oval Amethyst(3) emerald cut amethyst with 3-diamonds
each side....(3) one pair...and i think this is correct, "Rose de France"
Amethyst...emerald cut earrings(4) one odd-shaped...[looks like a
rounded-cornered triangle?] Aquamarine in 14K white gold. I'm 62
this oct....saw these worn often by her...with the exception of the
aquamarine...which I'd not seen before...think may have been a
gift to her from my aunt. I have attempted to take pictures and
have used a quarter...as a scale? Smiles...Hoping someone will be
able to tell me about these pieces. Thank you in advance.

Hi and welcome to DiamondRing! Lucky you to get sparklies! it is hard to see your pictures though so giving you feedback will be difficult. I like the Rose sculpture ring--What color is the stone?

Thank you for the welcome ~

They are very beautiful sparkles yes, but I'm more of a rainbow moonstone fan. I will try to do better about the pictures? The color of the Rose ring
is a deep brownish, reddish...greenish colour??? Kind of looks darker to-
wards the endges sometimes...if that's possible. And, sometimes almost
the colour of the gold mounting. Lights seem to just shoot from it when it's
turned. I will work of better quality of picture for it. My grandfather was
a merchant seaman and really have no idea where the ring comes from. I
just know she wore it on her middle finger and it's a big heavy ring. Thank
you again for your welcome...and od hope i can find out something about
it.
